MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone has the potential to grow, evolve and flourish and this is core to my coaching philosophy. This is possible through developing a learning mindset that enables self-awareness, helping us to grow and noticing how we need to adapt. I care deeply about making a difference and doing something of meaning and purpose which is what led to me to becoming a coach. I believe that truly listening to people without judgement can create huge shifts.

I am passionate about people, having meaningful connections and living life to the fullest. I am an enthusiastic runner and have completed 15 half marathons and 2 marathons. I also practice yoga and meditation. I draw on all these experiences and philosophies in my coaching practice.

Ikigai II.jpg

Ikigai – One of the key philosophies I draw from comes from the Japanese word ‘Ikigai’ which roughly translates as your reason for being, encompassing joy, a sense of purpose and meaning and a feeling of wellbeing. Every coaching relationship I have focuses on one if not all aspects of this.

Ikigai is the sweet spot between what you love, what you are good at, what you can be paid for and what the world needs. Or to put it another way, it’s your reason to jump out of bed in the morning. I believe Ikigai is a key way to bring meaning and joy to every day.
